Low Tide Excursion
27″ x 18″ original acrylic painting
During my 2010 wildlife research expedition to the Osa Peninsula in Costa Rica, I found myself almost entranced as I walked along the edge of this river in the Corcovado National Park. It was very close to the ocean and the tide was low, as you could see from the sediment covered rocks and logs. Although I was only able to see this spotted jaguar’s fresh tracks, they were enough to tell the story.
